Numbrrrs ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and store information when you use the Numbrrrs iOS app (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Numbrrrs is a calculator app that also tracks usage statistics to generate insights, achievements, and yearly summaries (“Calc’d”), while aiming to preserve user privacy by processing as much as possible on device.

2. Information We Collect & How

2.1 On-Device / Local Data

We log your calculation usage (inputs, operations, timing) locally on your device to generate usage metrics, streaks, and “Calc’d” insights.

We may store certain identifiers or metadata locally (for example, local app-generated user ID) to manage features.

This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share or upload a portion (see below).

2.2 Shared / Uploaded Data (Optional, User-Controlled)

If you choose to export or share your “Calc’d” summary or metrics (e.g. to share on social media, or for backup), the App may upload the relevant subset of the data you explicitly select. We do not upload your full usage logs or device-identifying information unless you opt in.

2.3 Other Information

• Device model, operating system version, and app version (for compatibility and debugging).
• Crash reports or diagnostics (with your consent, if applicable).
• If you contact us (e.g. for support), we may collect your email address, name, or other contact information that you voluntarily provide.

3. Use of Information

We use information to:

• Provide and maintain the features of the App (calculations, insights, achievements).
• Generate the “Calc’d” summary and insights based on your usage.
• Improve and debug the App.
• Respond to your support requests and communicate with you (if you provide contact info).
• (Optional) Process shared data for features you request (e.g. cloud backup or account linking).

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data or usage logs to third parties. We may disclose data in the following limited cases:

• To service providers or cloud providers acting on our behalf (e.g. for storage of user-opted data), under confidentiality obligations.
• To comply with legal obligations (e.g. court orders, law enforcement).
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business (with protections retained).
• With your explicit consent.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

• Data stored on-device remains until you uninstall the app or delete it via app settings.
• Shared / uploaded data: we will retain it only as long as needed for the purpose you opted in for (you may request deletion).
• You can request that we delete all your data (local and server-stored) by contacting us (see Section 8).

6. User Rights & Controls

• You may opt out of sharing or uploading data at any time.
• You may request deletion of your account or data.
• Where required by law (e.g. GDPR), you have rights to access, correct, or object to processing of your personal data.
• If you disable certain permissions or revoke consent, related features may cease to work.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect data. Uploaded data is encrypted in transit (e.g. via HTTPS). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may notify you (e.g. via in-app notice). Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
